holman ranch wedding | i do venues feature

I Do Venues is a great resource for couples searching for their ideal venue, and it’s always an honor when they use my photographs to showcase a special place. Today they featured photos from Robyn & Tobin’s wedding at Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley. Holman is still one of my very favorite places to shoot, and every wedding there is a beautiful one…but this particular wedding was an especially memorable one thanks to truly talented vendors like Coastside Couture and Laughing Gal Floral. You can see the full post here, or my own blog post about this wedding here.

kyle & dylan | holman ranch wedding | carmel photographer

Allison is the creative mind behind Engaged & Inspired, and she has a brand new website up showcasing her work designing, coordinating and crafting up beautiful details for weddings…see the new site here. I love that the first wedding that comes up in her portfolio is Kyle & Dylan’s wedding that we did together at Holman Ranch late last year. This was one of those weddings that had it all – perfect weather, gorgeous details, 2 lovely families coming together, a great group of fun friends, and a couple who could not be a sweeter match. Gabe and I had so much fun at this wedding, and we secretly wished we were guests on the dance floor that night. I have so many more images that I’m dying to share from this day, but here’s a little preview of what’s to come. You can see Allison’s full feature here.

carneros wedding | esla events & carlie statsky photography

Here’s some great advice on planning a wine country wedding from Laurel, the talented event designer and planner behind Esla Events. You can find the full article over at Engaged & Inspired right here, including some photos that I took at one of my favorite Napa venues, The Carneros Inn. If you’re a newly engaged couple looking to get married somewhere within Napa Valley, then definitely keep following Engaged & Inspired to read more in this informative series from Esla Events.

wedding chicks features clos la chance wedding

This wedding has to be one of my favorites because it was so incredibly full of all of the things that matter the most: love, family, friends and a whole lot of fun. Then when you add in all of the beauty of a venue like Clos La Chance and great vendors like Nicole Ha doing florals, the day can’t be anything but memorable in the best way. I’m so excited that the Wedding Chicks did such such a beautiful feature on this wedding, and I’m truly thankful to all of the talented vendors who helped make this day so perfect for Lara & Anthony, (you’ll find the full vendor list at the bottom of the feature.) You can see the full post here.

iss magazine | cover shoot with coastside couture

I could not have been more excited and honored to collaborate with the lovely Stacie Ivers Francombe and her talented team behind the ISS experience, (providing knowledge and inspiration to vendors in the wedding industry) especially since they wanted me to do a cover shoot for their ISS magazine featuring my dear friends at Coastside Couture. Karissa and Heidi are two of the most hard-working and fun people to work with in the wedding industry and I’m so happy that they’re getting the credit and exposure that they deserve! We had so much fun out at their Carmel Valley office that day, and I kinda wish we could do it all over again. These ladies lived up to their stellar reputation by going straight from their photo shoot to co-ordinating and setting up everything for the ISS experience in Carmel that started later that day up at Holman Ranch. The also managed to do it all in 4 inch heels and with smiles on their faces! See the full magazine feature below, including an interview with me about my photography career and how we approached the shoot. ISS is a really amazing resource for wedding professionals, so go and get your subscription here, or sign up for one of their conferences that are held all over the US and beyond.

happy holidays | a few recent card designs

What an amazing year 2012 has been! I’ve been lucky enough to witness some of the sweetest people as they say their vows, party like rockstars, start their families, and then continue to grow their families. It has been such an honor to share in all of the intimate, hilarious and emotional moments of these people’s lives, and I’m beyond excited to see what 2013 will bring. My new year’s resolution is to finally get caught up on my blog and share more of these moments, but in the meantime here are just a few of the cards that I’ve recently designed for some of my favorite clients. As 2012 comes to a close I am filled with gratitude for all of you. Happy holidays from my family to yours!
