Destination I Do magazine cover | Anderson Canyon wedding | Big Sur wedding photographer

I can’t thank Destination I Do magazine enough for featuring this beautiful wedding that Gabe and I documented last year, and for choosing one of my images for the cover of their winter issue! (This issue goes on stands November 18th, but the article is running in both their fall and winter issues.) This is only the second time that I’ve ever had one of my photos on the cover of a magazine, but it’s the first time that it’s for a real wedding, and we couldn’t more excited that the honor went to this particular couple. This wedding will go down in history as one of our all time favorites, mostly because we absolutely loved this sweet and down-to-earth couple who met in vet school, but also because this Big Sur private estate was one of the most inspiring venues that we’ve ever been to, and thanks to the dream team of vendors that surrounded us all weekend, including Coastside Couture, A Taste of Elegance, and Seascape Flowers among others. We spent 3 days down in Big Sur for this event, with an intimate cliff-side ceremony on Saturday and a reception on Sunday, and during those 2 days we witnessed every kind of weather possible, and more beauty and love than seems possible to fit into a single weekend. Be sure to check out a copy of the magazine this winter!

Dana & Sean | Kohl Mansion wedding | Style Me Pretty feature | Hillsborough photographer

This was our first time photographing this venue and we could not have had a better couple nor a better wedding to introduce us to the elegant beauty of Kohl Mansion. Dana and Sean are two of the kindest, most gracious and considerate couples ever, and their day full of thoughtful and personalized details really reflected who they are as a couple. Every aspect of their wedding was filled with both elegance and romance, from their first look in the middle of the rose garden, to their final dance within the grand mansion walls. I can’t thank Style Me Pretty enough for featuring their wedding. You can see the full post and list of talented vendors here.

Devine Ranch wedding inspiration | Santa Cruz photographer | Style Me Pretty feature

Gabe and I had such an amazing experience working with this team of creative and hard-working friends within the wedding industry to bring this inspiration shoot to life. Laurel from Esla Events conceptualized, designed and co-styled the shoot and I love that she wanted to show a natural, quiet, and slightly understated wedding style while focusing on some of the process and movement involved in an event, rather than just sticking with static images. Devine Ranch was the perfect location for the shoot thanks to grandeur of the spaces, the horses all over the property, the stone fireplaces, the lovely barn, and all of the sweeping valley views. Devine Ranch is a private estate that’s just opened up as a wedding venue and we’re definitely hoping to shoot lots of weddings there in the future. There is inspiration on every single acre of that property, and the owners made us feel so welcomed and at home there. We have to thank Shannon from OTL Vintage Rentals, Fionna Floral, Skyla Arts and all 4 of our awesome models for making this shoot such a beautiful one. Holman Ranch wedding feature | Modern Luxury Brides California magazine | Carmel photographer

If the quality of a wedding can be measured by how many times the photographer tears up throughout the day, (despite the large number of weddings they may witness a year) then this wedding was most definitely a great one! I honestly fell in love with these two and their sweet family and friends, and I had the best time documenting everything from their engagement session in Carmel through to their very last dance at Holman Ranch. Angelique’s career completely sky-rocketed in the year that I got to know these two, and it’s been so much fun to watch the whole wild ride and then discover the wedding photos all over People.com, ENews and numerous tv stations. A huge thanks to the amazing team of vendors who made this day such a pleasure to be a part of, (please see the full list in the images below) and so beautiful in every way. This was one of those events that really stayed focused on the love and joy that was shared that day rather than all of the little details, and there’s no better kind of wedding in my opinion. Gabe and I know these two are soulmates and we wish them a lifetime of happiness together.

Pasadera / Nicklaus Country Club wedding | monterey wedding | monterey photographer

This talented and artistic couple said that they wanted to create a Jackie-O-meets-Audrey Hepburn world with a Louie Armstrong theme song … and indeed they did! We’re so excited to see that Style Me Pretty featured this wedding and some of the romantic and beautiful details from throughout the day. Big thanks to Coastside Couture and all of the other vendors involved for making this wedding such a dreamy one. See the full post and full list of vendors over here at SMP!

Nestldown has to be one of the most magical venues ever, but it becomes even more memorable when it’s coupled with the design ideas of Every Elegant Detail, the whimsical floral creations of Amy Burke Designs, and a wonderful couple together with all of their huge-hearted friends and family. Boho inspired wedding shoot with Beijos Events | featured on Green Wedding Shoes

Green Wedding Shoes has always been one of my very favorite blogs to find unique and beautiful inspiration in the wedding world, so I couldn’t be more honored to have our work featured there this week. I’ve been in love with all of the recent work that Beijos Events has been doing, so when they asked me if I wanted to collaborate with them I immediately said yes! I love the way that they conceptualized this dreamy and dark, boho-inspired wedding shoot filled with so many amazing and organic details. Carmel Valley Ranch | Style Me Pretty feature | Carmel wedding photographer

You know it’s going to be a good wedding when wild deer walk along beside your car as your drive up to the venue in the morning. Carmel Valley Ranch is such a uniquely beautiful and peaceful venue and it was the perfect location for Karen & Ramsey’s wedding that was inspired by all things natural and elegant. We couldn’t be happier about the fact that Style Me Pretty just featured this wedding and highlighted all of the classic Californian beauty that filled the day. Check out the full post here to see more photos of this gorgeous couple and to find links to the killer vendor team that made this day so photogenic, including Amy Byrd, Shawn Cavlan Beauty Co. and Fionna Floral among others. Holman Ranch wedding | Carmel Photographer | Style Me Pretty

I can’t think of a better way to start the new year than with this feature about one of our most memorable weddings from last year. It’s always a huge honor for us to get published on Style Me Pretty, and I’m in love with all of the pastel details and olive branch elements that they chose to highlight from the day. There were countless beautiful moments and personal touches throughout the whole weekend full of celebrations, but some of my favorites included the picnic-style rehearsal dinner full of lawn games and featuring an olive oil mixing station, the mother of the bride’s stunning outfit that I intend to copy one day when and if one of my kids gets married, Yael and Dylan’s recession down the aisle as husband and wife, the most well-written and perfectly presently best man’s speech of all time that had Gabe and I dying with laughter, the father of the bride’s accordion playing that led everyone into the barn to start the dance party, and watching the happy couple dance together in an open field as the sun went down that day. It really was a wedding to remember. You can check out the full post, and the full list of talented vendors here.
